The Inter'net'
Welcome to the new era of being digitized. We do not wake up with a bedside alarm clock, but with a mobile ringing to our melody and welcoming us to a new day of technological surroundings. We cannot function without checking our phones for notifications or our laptops for emails. We listen, watch, browse, type, talk, and consume all sorts of messages through devices that are continually increasing in features but decreasing in dimension.
We’ve reached a point where the one thing that we’re ALWAYS connected to is not our parents or siblings – but the Internet. It is indeed a 'net' that we are caught in.
Without the Internet, I would not be sharing this page with unlimited users from all across the globe with a click of a mouse button. You would not be reading this if it weren’t for the wonder of the Internet. So without any abuse, let’s embrace what we’re fortunate enough to have.
